The final CCFA Farmers Market of the season activates on Saturday, October 17, 2015 followed by our 9th annual, ShedFest Farm-to-Table Feast & Celebration.

The ShedFest Farmers Market and Party will BOTH be at Alpine Park in Salida, Colorado (NEW LOCATION). Alpine Park is conveniently located at 5th & F Street just a few blocks from the center of town. Come on down and help us celebrate a beautiful season of fresh fruits and veggies and amazing artistry created by our incredible CCFA vendors.

The CCFA Farmers Markets help nourish the central Colorado community in so many incredible ways. After a long and fruitful season, let’s kick back and enjoy our strong and growing Foodshed Alliance. ShedFest is a celebration of local food producers and entrepreneurs and our incredible community!

ShedFest 2015 will host the final Farmers Market of 2015, activities for adults and kids, workshops by our vendors, local libations supplied by Elevation Beer Company and Vino Salida, locally catered food by Michelle Gap, live music, Salida Circus, fresh produce, nonprofit information booths, a Petting Zoo and more!

9:00am-1:00pm: Farmers Market & Workshops & Live Music By Harp Song International

9:00am-1:00pm: Shop the Farmers Market! Stock up on fruits and veggies, arts and crafts, locally made bread and pies, and enjoy concessions, healing arts and more.

10:00am-10:30am – Cultured Food Workshop w/ Michelle Riggio. Learn to make cultured, lacto-fermented foods like Sauerkraut, Beef Kass and Water Kefir. Meet at the Wellspring Nutritional Therapy Booth.

10:00am-10:30am – Drop Spindle Class: Learn to make yarn using wool & a Drop Spindle w/ Sandi Brown. Class is free or for $7-$12 you can take home a Drop Spindle & wool. Meet at Sandi Brown’s booth.

10:30-11:00am – Balloon Twisting Workshop w/ Uncle Ed. Learn to make bunnies, puppies and more! (Available for Birthday Parties, 719-239-4004). Limited to 10 participants. $5 donation per person. Meet at the CCFA INFO Booth

10:30-11:00am – Salve Making Workshop w/ Rosita Mary. Learn to Make healing, herbal salves. Meet at the Rosita Mary booth.

11:00-11:30am – Cultured Food Workshop w/ Michelle Riggio. Learn to make cultured, lacto-fermented foods like Sauerkraut, Beef Kass and Water Kefir. Meet at the Wellspring Nutritional Therapy Booth.

11:00-11:30am – Infused Essential Oils Workshop w/ Jonathan. A demonstration of peppermint essential oil infusion. Meet at the Ergo Massage Booth.

11:00-11:30am – Drop Spindle Workshop w/ Sandy Brown. Learn to make yarn. Meet at Sandy Brown’s Booth.

Noon-12:30pm – Q&A with Dawn Jump, Jumping Good Goat Dairy. Learn how to care for baby goats, make cheese, run a sustainable dairy operation and lots more. Meet at the Jumping Good Goat Booth.

2:00-3:00pm: Appetizers Served

3:00-6:00pm: Catered Farm-to-Table Feast (catered by Michelle Gap; Dessert by Seasons Cafe

6:00-8:00pm: Open Jam Session, bring your instruments
