The Final Farmers Market of the season will take place outside of the SteamPlant Event Center by the river (in Salida, CO). Celebrating our local FoodShed and local sustainable economy, the market will feed and entertain with local food, drinks, music, the Salida Circus, kids activities, goats, fresh produce, freshly pressed apple cider, fresh bread, gorgeous art, hand crafted body care products, nonprofit information booths & much more!
5:00 – 10:00 pm HARVEST DINNER & CELEBRATION ($30/ticket)
Lovers of local food and farmers gather to celebrate a successful growing season at our annual fall harvest party at the Salida SteamPlant Event Center Ballroom. Kick back and enjoy local beer, wine & tea, piping hot bowls of soup, plenty of appetizers and delectable desserts all created by our hometown restauranteurs and food artisans with a focus on healthful local ingredients.
Local potters craft one of a kind souvenir soup bowls for each guest. The speaker this year will be from a local beekeeping family and will discuss the art of beekeeping and observations about the plight and future of the honey bee.
Music & Dancing follows.
We are delighted to announce this year’s featured artist: Brynn Ronning. Brynn’s artwork will be on display and awaiting your bids starting at 5:00pm in the Steamplant Event Center Ballroom.
The Harvest Dinner is guaranteed to sell out so get your tickets early!
Tickets are available at the CCFA booth at the Salida, Canon City and Buena Vista Farmers Markets.
CCFA members ($25 level or above) receive a 33% discount making tickets a mere $20.
