Food is central to everyone’s daily life, and the CCFA is working to support all the different ways in which people connect with their food.
Restaurants provide a venue to develop relationships that may not otherwise occur. Unusual ingredients, exciting combinations of people, places and flavors, as well as skillful preparation of cuisine, facilitate an adventurous and celebratory atmosphere.
In addition, freshness and seasonality are inherent in regionally produced ingredients, and by sourcing products locally we directly benefit producers in the Foodshed. CCFA-member restaurants embrace these practices. By increasing the cultural knowledge of our diversified foodshed, the CCFA creates a tastier place for us all.
