The Salida Farmers Market is a project of the CCFA. In its sixth year, this thriving market is a networking hub for the community. Live music, great food, and proximity to the playground in Alpine Park entice local Salidans and visitors to the market every Saturday morning.

The CCFA Farmers Market Canon City has a new location this year on the grounds of The Abbey, located at 2951 East US Hwy 50. Shoppers will be greeted with plenty of shade and parking as they choose fresh produce and other local foods and products.

Here is CCFA’s finished float for the Apple Blossom Parade. Thanks SO MUCH to all of the dedicated volunteers who put this together. This was a great way to increase awareness of Local Food in Canon City.

The Canon City Apple Blossom Parade is this weekend, and Central Colorado Foodshed Alliance is having a float again this year. Last year, CCFA won $200 for their entry!
